Stress Positions

Stress positions involve placing the body in physically demanding postures that become increasingly uncomfortable to maintain over time. These might include prolonged kneeling, standing on tiptoes, or holding arms outstretched.

Unlike static bondage, the challenge comes from muscle fatigue and the mental discipline required to maintain the position. The gradual intensification of discomfort creates a progressive experience that tests endurance. Care should be taken to avoid positions that could cause injury, particularly to joints.

About the category Bondage

Bondage involves consensually restricting a partner's movement using rope, cuffs, restraints, other materials, or even just mental (by command/suggestion). This practice can range from simple wrist ties to elaborate full-body harnesses and suspension.

The appeal lies in the physical sensation of restraint, the visual aesthetic, the psychological elements of surrender and control, and the heightened sensations that often come with restricted movement. Safety considerations include maintaining circulation, having emergency release methods, avoiding nerve pressure points, and regular check-ins with the restrained person.

Bondage can be practiced as a standalone activity or combined with other forms of play, making it one of the most versatile and common elements in BDSM.
