Single Armbinder

A single armbinder is a specialized restraint that confines both arms together behind the back, typically from elbow to wrist. Unlike separate cuffs, it merges the arms into one unit, creating more complete restraint.

This device forces the shoulders back and chest forward while severely limiting upper body movement. The restrictive nature creates a heightened sense of helplessness compared to separate wrist restraints. Made from leather, canvas, or other durable materials, armbinders often lace or zip closed and may have additional straps to secure them to the body.
